We have an overstock situation with Coarse (10) Spline M21 (26 Tooth) Close Ratio Input Gears. These are correct for the 1963 to 1970 Muncie 4 Speeds for Corvettes and GM Passenger Cars. The above item is a very special Muncie M22 "Rock Crusher" 4 Speed Transmission. It is availabled in either the Fine 26 Spline Input and large 32 Spline Mainshaft or the Coarse 10 Spline Input and the standard 27 Spline Output into the yoke. And with either the Stud or Bold type Shift Shafts. It comes in either the Close Ratio 2.20 First Gear or Wide Ratio 2.52 First Gear high performance M22 Gear Set assembled on a New Mainshaft with New Heavy Duty Syncro Hubs, Rings, Keys, Springs and Sleeves. This is assembled in a new Auto Gear Muncie Super Case, New Auto Gear Super Tail Housing and the Auto Gear Super Side Cover with Needle Bearing roller Shift Shafts. Additional new parts are the Reverse Idler Gears; Input Bearing Retainer; Roller Bearings including a 6307L Shielded Input Bearing and SKF 6308L Main Support Bearing; Countershaft; Needle Bearings; Input Cage w/17 needles; Thrust Washers; Snap Rings; Seals; Bushing; Gaskets and Input Locknut. The Wide Ratio 2.52 Gear Set is for quicker acceleration in a heavier car with higher rear axel ratio. We have added two more transmission options to our "Awesome" Muncie 4 Speed Line. The first one is a Muncie M21 Close Ratio built with the same parts as the M22 version in the adjacent column to the right. Gear Ratio's are 2.20 1st, 1.64 2nd, 1.28 3rd and 1-1 4th. Price: $1550.00 The second one is a Muncie M20 Wide Ratio built with the same parts as the M21 version except it has the 2.52 lower first gear for quicker accelleration. Ratio's are 2.52 1st, 1.88 2nd, 1.46 3rd and 1-1 4th. Price:$1550.00

These are all the parts you need to convert your worn out Muncie 4 Speed to a M22 "Rock Crusher".
